If you are motivated to create a society where children, young people and adults who have experienced Scotland’s care system feel included, championed, understood, active, equal, loved and most importantly that their voice matters then we want to hear from you.

Help us to shape the future for the care experienced voice

Who Cares? Scotland is Scotland’s only national independent, representative organisation for care experienced people. We represent care experienced people through independent advocacy (up to 26 years of age); membership and influencing programmes. Our vision is for care experienced people to feel equal to their non-care-experienced peers.   A crucial part of our representative role comes from the voices of our Membership as well as the experiences of those we support through advocacy.

Who Cares? Scotland is a people organisation. We invest in our people, our relationships and in a positive working culture. It’s important to us that our staff team is included, involved and motivated to change society.

Some of our staff team are working their first ever job at Who Cares? Scotland. Some have come to us having previously delivered care services. Others have joined us having previously worked in the public and private sectors.

We aim to recruit people with excellent qualities from a wide variety of backgrounds who share in our mission. We particularly welcome applications from individuals with care experience.
