We are on the lookout for new members of our Board!

We are looking for people who can bring a range of skills, knowledge and perspectives to our Board, with a strong commitment to improving the lives of Care Experienced people. We welcome people with different experiences and backgrounds who can bring fresh thinking and a willingness to work collaboratively and help shape the future of Who Cares? Scotland.

Our constitution states that the Board of Who Cares? Scotland can have up to 15 members, with at least five of whom being people who have care experience. Our current Board members bring a range of skills and experience and must always act in the best interests of the organisation.

As a Board member, you will:

  1. Help to shape Who Cares? Scotland’s objectives, strategy and policy.
  2. Ensure that Who Cares? Scotland is pursuing our strategic objectives in everything we do.
  3. Oversee the financial management of the organisation and make sure it acts within the law.

“Being involved in an organisation that changes so many lives and campaigns for change for the Care Experienced community is so important to me. I’m committed to doing my bit, by using my experience and voice to help make sure we work to create a better future for all of Scotland’s Care Experienced community.”

Current Board Member

This is a great opportunity to use your skills and experience to influence the future of our work at Who Cares? Scotland.
