Firewalk
15 February
Face your fears and brave the burning coals in support of Care Experienced people. You will receive a pre-Firewalk training session from an expert, resulting in the completion of what previous walkers have called a transcendent experience.
A previous participant said: “It was such an empowering event, I recommend it to everyone I know. Before the walk you have a session where you learn affirmations that I still use to this day I am strong, I am powerful, I am magnificent and afterwards that’s exactly how you feel!”
Location:
C7 Conference Centre, 100 High Craighill Road, Glasgow, G4 9UD
Time:
Estimated timings 5pm to 9pm – more details to follow after registration.
Registration:
Includes pre-walk motivational training, Firewalk with professionals, a Who Cares? Scotland t-shirt plus a hot drink and snack after you’ve walked through the flames!
We are offering free registration for the Firewalk until the end of January! We are asking all participants that sign up during this time to aim to raise at least £125 in sponsorship to cover the cost of taking part (£25) and £100 towards our vital work supporting Care Experienced people in Scotland.
There are limited spaces available at this event so if you’re interested, be sure to sign up below ASAP.
There are also limited spaces available for Who Cares? Scotland members who are unable to pay for registration but can commit to fundraising. Please get in touch with the Fundraising Team to discuss further: fundraising@whocaresscotland.org
If you are a member and are interested in taking part but feel you won’t be able to cover the registration fee, get in touch with us by emailing fundraising@whocaresscotland.org
