Each year, thousands of walkers come together in Glasgow, Aberdeen, Dundee and Edinburgh to take part in the Kiltwalk events, enjoy an unforgettable day out and change lives. During 2017, our team members will each be walking either 6, 15 or 23 miles, and developing many blisters, to support our Summer of Success.
Thanks to the Hunter Foundation, 110% of every penny raised will go towards providing care experienced young people with opportunities including Summer Camp in Perthshire and Harvard Summer School. All donations will enable them to celebrate their identity, gain new knowledge and travel.
Our Ambassador Darren made a short film encouraging people to join our team and help raise money, which moved actor Tom Ellis to help.
Tom, who you’ll know from his leading roles in Miranda and Lucifer, has answered his fans calls for #tominakilt and is joining our Kiltwalk team. He doesn’t have a fundraising page but is encouraging people to sponsor Darren and give Scotland’s care experienced young people the summer of a lifetime.
Who Cares? Scotland would like to thank all friends, corporate parents, volunteers and care family members for their efforts and sponsorship.
