“It makes me feel valued as a Care Experienced member that people are #walkingwithloveforlove with the ambition of a lifetime of equality, respect and love.” – Jeanette, Who Cares? Scotland Family Member
The Kiltwalk is a unique Scottish charity event, which brings together walkers of all ages and abilities for an unforgettable fun day.
The Kiltwalk Virtual Weekend
We are hoping that despite the current restrictions we face due to the Covid-19 pandemic that people will still walk with love this year. We know that this is going to be different from previous years, but we still need your support!! It means so much to our Care Experienced members to see people demonstrating an act of love by walking for Who Cares? Scotland.
All money raised is topped up by an extra 50% by the Hunter Foundation and helps to provide exciting opportunities for our members.
Interested in walking with us?
If you are interested in walking for us, then please register via The Kiltwalk website. Registration cost is £12.80 for an Adult 16+ and £6.80 for a child.
If you find yourself in a position that you would like to take part but cant cover the cost of registration please just get in contact with us – email firstname.lastname@example.org.
So how does the virtual weekend work?
Kiltwalkers are invited to don a bit of tartan and complete any socially distanced challenge they wish, from walking, running, cycling, skipping or jumping on a trampoline. We are encouraging people to use their imagination and do a challenge that will help us raise vital funds.
Once you have registered with the Kiltwalk via their webpage you will receive and email about your fundraising page, that has been automatically set up for you. Who Cares? Scotland will then get a notification that you have registered, and we will aim to email you a second confirmation within 5 working days. At this time we will also send you a link to a google form with the option to request a t-shirt.
