Glasgow, with travel across Scotland (minimum 2 days per week in Glasgow)
£28,625, 35 hours per week

Who Cares? Scotland is Scotland’s only national independent, representative organisation for care experienced people. We represent care experienced people through independent advocacy (up to 26 years of age); membership and influencing programmes. Our vision is for care experienced people to feel equal to their non-care-experienced peers. A crucial part of our representative role comes from the voices of our Membership as well as the experiences of those we support through advocacy.
With the First Minister recently committing to listening to 1000 care experienced voices in the next two-years, as well as commissioning the independent root and branch review of care in Scotland – it is vital that care experienced voices and experiences are amplified further and more regularly across Scotland. We are therefore recruiting for a range of roles at this very important and exciting time in Scotland across a variety of exciting programmes.
The Alumni Membership Co-ordinator should be a confident public speaker and communicator, able to work in partnership with a wide range of internal and external partners. They will ideally use their own person experience of the care system to help develop the alumni of care experienced people across Scotland. They will lead on events and activities for alumni and support and develop alumni representatives to lead, sustain, grow and maximize the undoubted potential of this part of the Who Cares? Scotland membership.
