£29,909 – £36,943 (Pay award pending)

Who Cares? Scotland is the country’s recognised national independent, representative membership organisation for Care Experienced people. Our vision is of a Lifetime of Equality, Respect and Love for Care Experienced people.

The postholder will provide leadership and direct management of Who Cares? Scotland Advocacy and Participation Workers (APWs) within the South West regional team. This team comprises of our services and staff within East Ayrshire, North Ayrshire, South Ayrshire and Inverclyde.

The postholder will develop and lead on our advocacy and participation activity within the region.  They will also contribute to the overall activity and strategic direction of Who Cares? Scotland in line with the organisations vision, mission and values. We are in the process of developing our volunteering offer within the Region, which the postholder will lead on with Leadership colleagues.

The right candidate will have a relevant degree level qualification.  They will have significant experience of motivating and leading a staff team as well as managing budgets and performance targets. A current full driving licence is essential.

Interviews will be held on Tuesday 25 June 2019 in Glasgow.
