£29,465 – £36,395 per annum

Who Cares? Scotland is Scotland’s only national independent, representative organisation for care experienced people. We represent care experienced people through independent advocacy (up to 26 years of age); membership and influencing programmes. Our vision is for care experienced people to feel equal to their non-care-experienced peers.   A crucial part of our representative role comes from the voices of our Membership as well as the experiences of those we support through advocacy.

The post holder will provide leadership and direct management of Who Cares? Scotland Advocacy and Participation Workers (APW) within the Central regional team. The Central regional team comprises of our services and staff within Glasgow, Clackmannanshire, Falkirk and Stirling. The post holder will develop and lead on advocacy and participation within the region and to contribute to the overall strategic direction of Who Cares? Scotland in line with the organisations vision, mission and values.

The right candidate will have a relevant degree level qualification and have significant experience of motivating and leading a staff team as well as managing budgets and performance targets. A current full driving licence is also essential.
