DESCRIPTION:Do you have 2-3 hours in your week to support Care Experienced young people in your area? We provide regular groups to bring Care Experienced young people together and provide an opportunity for participation and belonging within their community. We are looking for a Volunteer Youth Worker to work alongside our Development Officer to support the running and activities of these new groups. Role Requirements – – Ability to work well in a team – Ability to encourage others to get involved with the activities – A non-judgemental approach and empathy – Enthusiasm and commitment to the role Who Cares? We aim to recruit people with excellent qualities from a wide variety of backgrounds who share in our mission. We particularly welcome applications from individuals with care experience.
