SUMMARY:Collaborative Themed Learning session - Health and Wellbeing - 2
DESCRIPTION:This year\, our collaborative learning events will focus on health\, exploring the key advocacy issues affecting the Care Experienced community in relation to their health and wellbeing. This session will help you to better understand the challenges Care Experienced individuals may face\, as well as the barriers they can encounter when accessing support and services and inspire you on your journey as a supportive Corporate Parent. \nWe will utilise breakout rooms in this session to provide space for discussion\, and allow you to collaborate with your fellow Corporate Parents. \n—————————— \nThe Education & Engagement Team are funded by Scottish Government to provide support and learning sessions to Corporate Parents. Therefore this event if free for anyone working for one of the 26 Corporate Parents named in legislation. If you do not work for a named Corporate Parent but work in a sector that is closely connected to caring for and supporting people with care experience\, you are still more than welcome to attend this event. We just ask that you select the ‘non Corporate Parent organisation’ option to pay the small fee of £10 to help support the work that we do and to help us achieve our vision for: A lifetime of equality\, respect and love for Care Experienced people. \n \n Register Here!\n \nTo find out more: \nContact the Education & Engagement Team at corporateparenting@whocaresscotland.org
