What?
In this session The Education and Engagement team will explore some key issues and themes that have been identified by the Care Experienced community with regards to finance. This session will help you better understand some of the potential barriers people with care experience face in achieving financial security and independence to inspire you on your journey as a supportive Corporate Parent.
When?
This collaborative session will take place on Monday, 14th October, 2024, from 10am until 12:00pm.
Where?
This event will take place on Teams and attendees will be e-mailed a link to the meeting room in advance.
Who?
This training event is open to any member of staff working within a Corporate Parenting body in Scotland.
The Education & Engagement Team are funded by Scottish Government to provide support and learning sessions to Corporate Parents. Therefore this event if free for anyone working for one of the 26 Corporate Parents named in legislation.
If you do not work for a named Corporate Parent but feel that this session would be relevant to your work, you are still more than welcome to attend this event. We just ask that you pay the small fee of £10 to help support the work that we do and to help us achieve our vision for: A lifetime of equality, respect and love for Care Experienced people.
