2023 Care Family Christmas Dinner
25 December
We’re delighted to bring you our 8th Glasgow Care Family Christmas Dinner. This year we are returning to our much-loved home of Christmas, SWG3.
The Christmas Dinner is an opportunity for Care Experienced people to enjoy Christmas dinner with all the trimmings and celebrate the festivities on Christmas Day with other Care Experienced people. You are very welcome to attend with your families.
Guests will receive a hot chocolate or mulled juice on arrival and there will be time to catch up with old friends before we sit down for a three-course meal. There will then be time for presents and a visit from Santa before settling down for a festive movie.
Final timings for the day are still to be confirmed but it is a daytime event.
Our elves will make sure you feel welcome and have a memorable day with plenty of Christmas cheer.
This year we have three Care Experienced Christmas Consultants working tirelessly to make it the best Christmas ever. Tony will be turning SWG3 into a winter wonderland, while Charlie makes sure there are plenty of fun activities throughout the day to take part in. And Chelsea will be helping our fundraising team ensure we can pay for it all!

Everyone attending our Christmas Dinner will receive:
- A lift to the event from one of our reindeer fleet of volunteers if you don’t have your own means of transport to and from the event
- A hot chocolate or Christmassy mulled drink on arrival
- A three-course Christmas dinner with all the trimmings
- A Santa sack of gifts
The event can be quite noisy so there be a quiet space available for anyone who needs some time out.
Christmas jumpers are optional, but fully encouraged! We look forward to making merry memories with you, let’s make 2023 a Care Family Christmas to remember.
