We are proud of our unique, creative and thought-provoking events. Our national events offer a range of opportunities for both the Care Experienced community and their supporters to unite to learn, shape change and celebrate.
Lifetime of Rights and Respect Event
Friday 14 June 2019 / Glasgow / 10.00 to 16.00
This event will showcase our 40 Years of Us Project, which builds on our vision of a lifetime of equality, respect and love for Care Experienced people. Throughout the course of 2019, we’re harnessing our four decades of experience and information to shed new lights on the lives of Care Experienced people. This event will focus on the impact that independent advocacy has on the lives of young people.
Delegates will have the opportunity to collaborate with other leaders and some of our Care Experienced members during the course of the day. They’ll also gain understanding of the historical and contemporary state of Care Experienced people’s rights, as witnessed by those delivering and receiving independent advocacy.
Registration for Who Cares? Scotland’s members and representatives from Corporate Parents, public and third sector organisations is now open.
