YOUNG PERSONS’ WORKER – Moray & Highland - 17.5hrs per
week
SCP 23-31, £20,388 - £26,333 (pro-rata)
Who Cares? Scotland is Scotland’s leading national advocacy
organisation working with children & young people in care in
Scotland. We are looking for a “Young Persons’ Worker” to
work for a dynamic and influential organisation that has
been working to give young people in care a voice for over
30 years.
Working in Highland and Moray you will aim to improve
outcomes for children and young people looked after by Moray
and Highland Councils. Working with and for children and
young people looked after away from home, you will provide
advocacy, support, advice and consultation
As well as working closely with Moray and Highland Councils’
and other partners you will be part of one of Who Cares?
Scotland’s regional teams. Suitable experience working with
young people is essential. You must hold a minimum
qualification of HNC Social Care or other relevant
qualification. Applications from individuals with experience
of being in care are welcomed. The post involves significant
travel; therefore a full driving licence and own transport
are essential.
