a rule that the place you live in has to meet your needs.
The Care Commission is the group of people who have to make
sure that this rule is being taken seriously where you live.
Q: What if I think the place I
live isn’t meeting my needs and I want to complain about it?
A: Then you can speak to your
Social Worker, Key Worker or Who Cares?Scotland Worker and
tell them about this in the hope that they can look into
your situation and advocate for what you would like at your
review or panel.
Q: What if I’ve tried that and
I’m still unhappy?
A:Then you could make a formal
complaint about what you’re unhappy about, it might be about
a person or about the place that you live in.
Q: How do I do that?
A: You can speak to your Who
Cares? Scotland worker who will advise you on the complaints
procedure that the local authority has in place or you could
complain directly to the Care Commission.
